Our Uluru sticker showcases beautiful Uluru. Uluru is a sacred landmark to indigenous Australians, believed to have begun formation approximately 550 million years ago.
FUN FACT: "Uluru" is the official Aboriginal name of the landmark, with "Ayers Rock" a modernised name given by William Gosse in 1873 after "Sir Henry Ayers." Originally, this remarkable sight sat at the bottom of the sea. Today, it stands 348m above ground, which is 24m higher than the Eiffel Tower. Startling yet true, some 2.5 kilometres of its bulk is actually underground!
To the surrounding indigenous culture, the Uluru is immensely important. It is thought that it was formed by ancestral beings during the fabled "Dreamtime" - a time when the land and people were created by the ancestor spirits.
