Galah Poster

The Australian Galah Print displays the beautiful Galah, a famous bird native to Australia recognised by its soft grey and pink colours. These birds are gorgeous to see in nature and are often brought up as cherished pets among Australians with their extremely intelligent and charming personalities.

Galahs are a species of cockatoo. They have a short crest (the feathers on their head) which can erect on demand and look like an adorable cap when lowered. Males and females pair for life, spending most of their days together cleaning, playing and eating. Their social and affectionate behaviour is absolutely beautiful to observe, especially when directed at humans! They make fantastic pets with their friendly nature.

The name Galah is a reference to their silly, show-off behaviour and is derived from Yuwaalaraay and related Aboriginal languages of northern NSW. Galahs are found throughout most of Australia, and today, they are an icon of the nation. Our minimalistic Australian Galah Print features a relaxed Galah, perfectly matching the soft tones throughout the illustration and the ideal decoration for the baby or children's room.

Available in five different sizes (see drop-down menu above).

Epson Ultra Premium Luster Photo Paper is in between a gloss and matte finish, providing you with highly saturated, maximum ink coverage. Because of its saturation and resistance to fingerprints, luster paper is a popular choice for photographic prints.

This listing is for one print only, frame and matboards are not supplied. All of our posters are printed by a professional printer using high-quality material and processes. In order to cut shipping costs and our environmental footprint these products ship directly from our printer in the US. Unlike our flashcards which we post directly from our Australian warehouse. So, if you order both prints and flashcards they will ship separately.
