Aotearoa New Zealand Fern White Poster Art

DESCRIPTION: Our Silver Fern Poster is simple yet powerfully symbolic. The Silver Fern is native to New Zealand, recognised by the silver-white colour of the underneath surface of mature fronds. This tree has been a symbol of New Zealand's national identity since the 1880s. To the Maori - indigenous people of New Zealand - the distinct, elegant shape of the fronds represented strength, enduring power, and stubborn resistance. To Pakeha (New Zealand people of non-Maori descent), it symbolised their sense of attachment to their homeland.

The subtle beauty of this poster makes it an excellent addition in your home.

SIZES: Available in five different sizes (see drop-down menu).

PAPER: Epson Ultra Premium Luster Photo Paper is in between a gloss and matte finish, providing you with highly saturated, maximum ink coverage. Because of its saturation and resistance to fingerprints, lustre paper is a popular choice for photographic prints.

PLEASE NOTE: Our posters are printed by a professional printer using high-quality material and processes. To cut shipping costs and our environmental footprint, artwork ships directly from one of our three printers, based in the US, Europe or Australia depending on closest proximity to your delivery address. Our flashcards and stickers are posted by The FOC Team directly from our Australian warehouse. So, if you order both prints and flashcards, please be aware that they will ship separately.
