Kookaburra Print

The Australian Kookaburra Print depicts a happy, cheeky, laughing Kookaburra with his mouth gaping open mid-laugh. This one is a cute illustration with soft edges and hues, creating a joyful art piece for children or adults who admire the famous Australian bird.

Kookaburras are native Australian birds, known as very large "Kingfishers". They feed on terrestrial prey, including reptiles and birds. As a totem, they represent social behaviours, group efforts, beauty and happiness, which is characterised significantly by their iconic "laughing" call. Its name, Kookaburra, comes from the Australian Aborigine word "guuguubarra" and was furthermore thought up from their vocal sounds. They are truly a delight to see and listen to in Australia, although you might want to cover your ears when they get too loud!

You might even want to teach your child the wonderful song activity, with the first verse as follows: Kookaburra sits in the old gum tree, merry merry king of the bush is he. Laugh Kookaburra, laugh, Kookaburra, Gay your life must be!

Epson Ultra Premium Luster Photo Paper is in between a gloss and matte finish, providing you with highly saturated, maximum ink coverage. Because of its saturation and resistance to fingerprints, luster paper is a popular choice for photographic prints.
