The Australian Bottlebrush Poster features a dangling branch of the iconic "Bottlebrush Tree", otherwise known as a Callistemon. The bottlebrush is a woody shrub native to Australia, identified with its vibrant red flowers and cylindrical appearance strongly resembling a bottlebrush. Spiritually, the red flowers represent the "celebration of birth and all that is new and sustaining."
Bottlebrushes usually occur in warm regions, particularly in the east and south-east of Australia. They are gorgeous to observe when there are many scattered throughout the region. Birds and insects enjoy using these trees for shelter and food from the flower spikes which are rich in nectar. Skinks and other native animals are also attracted to it. If you have one in your backyard, you will undoubtedly attract plenty of native life!
If you feel the rooms of your home need a little splash of natural colour, or you want to educate your children on the native trees of Australia, our Australian Bottlebrush Posters are the way to go.
