Our Australian Kookaburra Print is a great illustration of a laughing Kookaburra with his mouth gaping open mid-laugh. It's a joyful art piece for children or adults who admire the famous Australian bird.
Fun Fact: Kookaburras are native Australian birds, known as very large "Kingfishers". They feed on terrestrial prey, including reptiles and birds. As a totem, they represent social behaviours, group efforts, beauty and happiness, which is characterised significantly by their iconic "laughing" call. Its name, Kookaburra, comes from the Australian Aborigine word "guuguubarra" and was furthermore thought up from their vocal sounds. They are truly a delight to see and listen to in Australia, although you might want to cover your ears when they get too loud!
